Housing Reservations
The following hotels offer special MS&T convention rates:
- Westin Convention Center Hotel (connected to David L. Lawrence Convention Center) - ACerS headquarters hotel
- Hilton Pittsburgh - ASM headquarters hotel
- Marriott Pittsburgh City Center - AIST and TMS headquarters hotel
- Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel
- Omni William Penn Hotel
- Doubletree Hotel Pittsburgh City Center
Reserve your room online or download and complete the housing form. For best availability and immediate confirmation, make your reservation online. Confirmation for other reservations may take up to 10 days. No reservations are taken by phone.
Government Room Rates
A limited number of rooms are available at the prevailing government rate for official U.S. federal and state government employees. The rates do not extend to vendors of the U.S. government. Rooms at government rates may only be reserved by downloading and completing the housing form and faxing it with a copy of an official government I.D. to VisitPittsburgh Housing. An official government I.D. will also be required at check-in; the I.D. cannot consist of a letter. Anyone who cannot provide a valid government I.D. will be charged the higher standard hotel rate. MS&T cannot guarantee the availability of rooms at the government rate.
To Check, Change or Cancel Reservations
Please click here to view, modify or cancel an existing reservation. Reservations cancelled less than 72 hours prior to noon of scheduled arrival date will be charged one night rate and tax. For questions or inquiries, please e-mail housing@visitpittsburgh.com through September 19, 2008. After that date, contact the hotel directly.

MS&T has learned a company called Convention Expo Travel is contacting exhibitors claiming to assist with hotel reservations in Pittsburgh for MS&T'08. MS&T DOES NOT have a contract with this company to manage hotel reservations in Pittsburgh.
Should you be contacted by Convention Expo Travel, MS&T strongly recommends you DO NOT make your Pittsburgh hotel reservation through that company. If you have already made hotel reservations through Convention Expo Travel, MS&T is unable to guarantee the reservation is valid.
Transportation
The above hotels are approximately 18 miles from the Pittsburgh International Airport. Click to view driving directions or a map of hotel locations.
Car Rental
Special discounted rates for MS&T attendees have been arranged with Hertz. Call Hertz directly at (800) 654-2240, or reserve your car online, and reference MS&T discount number CV#01YS0001 to receive special rates.
Taxi Service
The average cab fare from the Pittsburgh airport to downtown hotels is between $35 and $45.
Shuttle Service (from Pittsburgh airport to hotels)
Express Shuttle provides service between the Pittsburgh airport and downtown hotels. Cost is $20 one-way, per person, or $35 round-trip, per person. Departures at the airport are every 30 minutes, Sunday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations are not required for service from the airport, and tickets can be purchased at the Express Shuttle service desk. Shuttle Service (from convention center to hotels)
During conference hours, MS&T will provide complimentary shuttle service between the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and the Hilton Pittsburgh, Marriott Pittsburgh City Center, Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel and the Doubletree Hotel Pittsburgh City Center. The Westin Convention Center and the Omni William Penn hotels are within a short walking distance from the convention center.
